![]() exe present inside of Game Settings/My Settings(it would detect both EoCApp.exe along with x360ce_圆4.exe so I left only the game executable checked inside), here's proof: If a developer is reading this, can you check for that specific code that worked in the executable of the previous title and see the differences and possibly reimplement for this one so we can take advantage of this option for those with only 1 controller? I don't see why the predecessor works via vjoy+x360ce just fine whilst the successor does not.ĮDIT: FIGURED IT OUT! (sort of.) by some miracle, I managed to get to the main screen this time, what I did was a last resort move in which I enabled all 圆4 xinputs(including 圆4 dinput) I removed any other. ^ I can confirm this method works fine with the 1st game, but in the sequel it goes as far as showing the "Press X button to start" ( which can be seen in my image here ) and instead of showing the controller interface we are greeted by the default desktop UI(tested all xinput1_1/2/3/etc, 1_3 is what had it get detected ingame at welcoming screen). This is definitely something just a bit over my head, but I'd really like to see even mod support for this functionality, if not official support. As you said previously, the focus is lost between windows, and forcing the focus in this manner as is done with BL2 doesn't seem to fix that. While this fix does work for BL2 (with some sound limitations I haven't figured out), allowing for one player to use a mouse & keyboard, and the other to use a controller, doing this doesn't seem to work for DOS2. Then you do a similar edit for the player 2 shortcut, adding "-AlwaysFocus -ControllerOffset=1 -SaveDataId=2" to the end of the respective target line. ![]() With BL2, you create two shortcuts to the exe, then for the first player you edit the target line of the shortcut properties to have "-AlwaysFocus" at the end of it. I've done this with Borderlands 2, which has a *very* simple workaround. ![]() I just started trying to figure this out as well, as I really want to play this with my partner but we don't have a second controller. Can anyone help us out with getting this to work? (Using Windows 7) If one person plays with mouse/keayboard then the controller window is inactive/out of focus and doesn't respond to controller inputs and vice versa.Ī half-hour google search on how to have multiple windows factive at the same time was not very successful. We can't control both characters at the same time because one of those two windows is always "out of focus" and unresponsive to inputs. We can’t wait to see your screenshots, hear your stories, and read your reactions as they roll out over the coming year.Because I don't have two controllers (and my wife doesn't like controllers) I was looking for a way to Co-Op with a Keyboard/Mouse AND Controller combo ( NOT supported out-of-the-box).Īnd I almost found a perfect solution now:Īfter realizing that I could run two instances of the game in two separate windows and successfully host/join both game-instances via LAN I now have two monitors connected to my PC and each monitor features its own separate window - one of them is featuring mouse/keyboard UI and the other one features the xbox controller UI.īut now the very last puzzle piece is missing in order to make this whole thing actually work: There’s lots more to be excited for in that pack, but we’ll share more details closer to the time.Ĭrossover characters, unique armor sets, a very special weapon (hint: DIY) and lots more are coming over the next year, and we can’t wait to see what you make with them.
